The key to the Sapien Nation is our first-of-its-kind NFT passport. The passport will leverage our novel badging system using "soulbound tokens," or SBTs. These SBTs may represent status, access, or a verifiable credential, building your reputation and digital identity.
We believe that SBTs, or as we call them "badges," are simple building blocks for communities and will allow DAOs in the Sapien ecosystem to organize, cross collaborate, and govern their own organizations. Just like you collect stamps on a conventional passport to create a traveling ledger, with your NFT passport, you collect badges to build your social ledger
Overall, the Passport is an all-in-one tool to showcase your contributions, issue badges, and manage your DAO. There are two types of passports: Individual and Tribe Passports.
The Individual Passport signifies that you are a citizen in the Sapien Nation. It functions as a user profile and has a wallet attached.

The Tribe Passport signifies that your DAO is a Founding Tribe in the Sapien Nation. It functions as a tribe profile and has a safe attached.
Our “Founding Tribe” passport, which you can purchase for 0.15 ETH, comes with a stylized historical avatar. It’s our way of honoring the legends of the past while building a better future through Web3. The criteria for choosing - can no longer be alive and can’t already be reserved. You can view the reserved list here.
